Food & Wine
Food & Wine The ideal geographical location in northern Tuscia nestled between Umbria, Tuscany and Lazio, between Lake Bolsena and the Tyrrhenian Sea, results in a place where culture and traditions of three regions come together in a perfect way; giving rise to one of the poles of excellence of Italian gastronomy, with a wealth of flavors, olive oils, legumes and historic wines with few equals. We're talking about the EST! EST !! EST !!! wine from Montefiascone, the Aleatico dessert wine from Gradoli, the Cannaiola wine from Marta, wines that are drunk all over the world and which are not inferior to fine wines as Montiano, Paterno and Grechetto La Tour. But we are also talking about typical regional products such as the lentils from Onano, the white Purgatorio beans from Gradoli, the chickpeas from Valentano which acquire superior characteristics thanks to the fertile, originally volcanic soil of the area and which blend perfectly with the famous olive oils from ancient olive trees of Canino, the most widespread in the area. All of these products contribute to the top quality of the local cuisine and are skillfully paired with fine fish from the Bolsena Lake, such as the famous Coregone whitefish, a salmonid that has found an ideal environment in the clean and deep waters of the lake.
