In the centre of Italy among the beautiful
Tuscan hillside you will find the antique
city of Volterra, famous for it’s alabastry
work and medieval monuments.
About 10 Km. from Volterra in the
direction of Colle di Val d’Elsa following
the sign for Spicchiaiola, you will find
“Il Volterra 236” a small agricultural farm that
produces olive oil, grain/cereals and
wine and thanks to the restauration of
the farmhouse at the end of 1999, it
also now offers true tuscan hospitality.
The varied type of produce grown in this
area also gives you a great chance to
explore by walking or riding along
the various pathways nearby.
