Position: a brand new farmhouse in the north of Maremma on the coast of Tuscany. In Italian the area is called the
Costa degli Etruschi, or the Etruscan Coast, due to the historical connections with Tuscany's early inhabitants, who have left numerous relics and archeological sites that can be explored today.
The Agriturismo is 1 kilometre from the white sand beach Vada.
Description: the farmhouse is a country house from the beginning of the 19th century. It has been entirely restored, keeping the beam and arched ceiling. Today the farmhouse offers holiday apartments, while Signora Rosa Maria, the owner and her family live in another part. On the farm we cultivate ancient varieties of fruit that has been featured in the Italian TV show
Linea Verde Orizzonti in March 2003. The intention of the director was to present a farm where the production and cultivation was still conducted with traditional methods, in contrast with the current production using genetically modified seed.
