| Monteleone di orvieto 493 is an antique building that dates back to the 15th century, it was enlarged in 1756 and there is a date plaque of the torre di mezzodi hung over the door. in 2002 a major restoration started, by then the house was only a ruin. the careful restoration was done with the antique techniques and methods, the materials where strictly natural. at one time monteleone di orvieto 493 was used as a resting place to change horses and the legacy of this use is still visible on the west side of the house where one can still see the old attachments carved in stone and brick.the ...
