the small hamlet was obtained by restructuring a typical tuscan farm. it is immediately adjacent to a villa, which has been inhabited since 1520 by the proprietor’s family that receives and entertains guests as friends. the welcoming simplicity of their lifestyle dates back to a bygone age. the proprietors are always available to provide information about history of the family and site, restaurants, italian fashion outlets, wineries and tourist attractions.the farmhouse borders a small, medieval castle village and is situated on a hilltop between siena (25 km or 15 miles) and arezzo. at an altitude of 500 m (1600 ft), cool breezes keep the resort comfortable under the tuscan sun. it boasts stunning views of the chianti hills and the ambra valley.
from the farmhouse, it is approximately a 20 minute drive to siena and about an hour to florence, san gimignano, pienza, cortona, arezzo, perugia and assisi.
