The area surrounding Podere Sovicille 749 encompasses a large number of villages within a few minutes driving distance. All of these boast a number of excellent trattoria offering good food and wine at extremely reasonable prices. In addition there are excellent pizzerias serving traditional Italian pizza which will be a pleasant discovery for those used to other worldwide variations. These local trattoria welcome children with open arms - local Italians always include children and babies when dining out.
For those special occasions there are also several excellent restaurants offering superb menus and varied wine cellars. It is a superb experience to dine al fresco watching the sunset over the Tuscan hills.

Set in the heart of Tuscany, Sovicille 749 makes an ideal base for exploring some of the best wines that Italy has to offer.
The world famous vineyards of Montalcino and Montepulciano are approximately half an hour away, whilst Podere Sovicille 749 in Chianti - the home of Chianti Classico is also about 20 minutes away.
A visit to Tuscany would not be complete without a taste of the local wines, and the opportunities in this region are plentiful. Most of the local wine producers welcome visitors to the vineyards and historic locations such as San Gimignano posses many 'enoteca'.
