Great stay!
Beautiful location. Quiet. Our unit had tons of room decorated with Tuscan charm. San Quiricio is a great little town nearby with short drives to Pienza, Montalcino, and Montepulciano.
Lots of bugs, but you're in the country so it's kind of expected. Wish we had known we'd be on a treacherous dirt road for 20 minutes. It was a little scary because we were in a Ford Fiesta.
The road for arrive to San Quirico d'Orcia is 8km of dirt road in a good condition (more or less 10/15 minute from the village) For a car I suggest every car without problem. I travel with my small car from 10 year witout problem. Is important know that there is a dirt road, but is a rood with other 5 farm house that rent flat and we fix every season too times. Is long the first time because you don't kmow there is a house, but after for a lot of tourist a pleasure because around the road you could see a lor of animal and you have a beatiful landscape on Montalcino.
