The villa is about six kilometres away from San Gimignano, selected by UNESCO as a world heritage site; it is an ancient medieval town, heir to rich history and culture, which has preserved its historical roots, as well as its art masterpieces. Also six kilometres away, Poggibonsi (the province's second largest city after Siena) offers shops of all kinds, supermarkets, a hospital and the railway and bus station. The Ampugnano (Siena) airport is about 35 minutes away from the villas.

Ideally located to reach Tuscany's most beautiful and interesting sites, medieval burgs and cities. Travel is easy: you can reach the Siena-Firenze motorway link in less than ten minutes and proceed to Florence (about 35 km), Siena (25 km), Volterra (30 km), Pisa (50 km), the Chianti Classico (15 km) with its vineyards, its many farms and special towns like Greve in Chianti, Panzano, Radda in Chianti and Gaiole and Castellina in Chianti; within a radius of about 20 km you can reach small historically and culturally interesting towns like Certaldo, Barberino Val d'Elsa, Colle Val d'Elsa and Monteriggioni (rare example in Italy of a still intact fortified town, or "walled city").
Besides the Chianti, the Crete Senesi, about 30 km away, and the Val d'Orcia, about 45 km away, are two especially fascinating and magical scenic destinations.

The route of the Crete Senesi is particularly interesting; it leads from Buonconvento to the Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore, through a very spectacular itinerary, with broad vistas over the Val d'Arbia, Montalcino and Mount Amiata, to end with a captivating view of incredible beauty over the Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore, Chiusure and the calanchi [ravines] of the Crete.
Not to be missed in the Val d'Orcia are visits to the Abbey Sant'Antimo (Montalcino), to the burg of Bagno Vignoni (San Quirico d'Orcia) and its spa, to Pienza for its typical cheeses, and to Montalcino, the home of the "Brunello" wine.
Those who also love the seaside can reach the Tyrrhenian coast through several routes that take between one hour and a half and two hours.
