Farmhouse: Cellars and wine

Wine cellars The wine cellars are in a climatically controlled environment where temperature and humidity are kept constant. All the wines are aged in small, oak kegs from France from one to four years and then refined in bottles for at least one more year. Distilled spirits obtained from the unpressed dregs, sealed in watertight containers, are immediately sent to be distilled by vapor in a maximum of 24-48 hour time-span. Our wines The olive groves, which stretch for eight hectares, are pruned yearly to achieve a limited amount of olives in order to obtain an oil that carries the distinctive perfume of the Chianti countryside.
