This is the old cellar that we have restored for you. It is a meeting place, where also the sharecroppers – who lived here long time ago – used to meet inside. The old wine cellar was the place where the sharecroppers produced the wine and in the evening they met each other to drink and relax after a hard and long working day a long time ago.
It was actually a meeting place that we have restored and converted into a cellar in order to taste the products of our land and where you can enjoy and share, not only the flavours, but also the history and the art.

Farmhouse Rufina 1009

The farm, which takes its name from the estate, thanks to the particular propensity of the territory, it produces and trades wine and oil.
The business activity of our farm is now in growing: it has been made a renovation of the vineyard’s areas and the restoration of the olive grove’s ones and we have bought new equipment for the cellar. It will be planted land with another “Chianti Rufina” vineyard shortly.
Trough the scientific knowledge of the doctor, Florentine pharmacist, the oil and the wine can be handicraftly treated in a very accurate way both as regards the methods and the quality.
All the guests, during their stay, can spend some times to taste our gourmet food.
