The farmhouse, within the Gran Sasso National Park, is located in the highest medieval village in central Italy (1514m ASL) It is positioned on a rocky edge from where the ancient rock holds a vast, picturesque view of the Gran Sasso. This extends from Campo Imperatore to the Maiella mountains in Sirente-Velino and takes in the city of Sulmona and numerous other historical and archaeological centres such as Capestrano, Castel del Monte, Castelvecchio and Santo Stefano di Sessanio.
The house is located on the edge of the village and has a large garden and terrace from where one can enjoy the entire view described above.

Every season offers its own particular pleasures and as well as providing a period of total relaxation and comfort, also leaves space for activities: in winter skiing and cross-country skiing which Campo Imperatore is famous for; spring brings an explosion of incredibly beautiful flowers both for hikers and those resting in the garden; summer offers a pleasantly cool climate and the opportunity to go hiking on the other surrounding peaks, amidst raspberry bushes, meadows and undergrowth; autumn brings a chance to pick mushrooms and taste the typical cheeses and roast kebabs in restaurants and existing hostels in Campo Imperatore.

Each season is a paradise for hikers. The farmhouse is 3km from Calascio, 8km from Santo Stefano di Sessanio, 12km from Campo Imperatore, Castelvecchio and Castel del Monte, 30km from the city of Aquila and Sulmona and the A24 motorway, 80km from Pescara and the Adriatic sea and 130km from Rome.

La structure, qui remonte au XVI° siècle a été complètement restructurée en 2000, avec le style dun refuge de montagne, et elle est composée de deux appartements le premier pour 4 personnes, le deuxième pour 2 personnes tous deux avec jardin et terrasse panoramique indépendants. Pour ceux qui préférent manger à lextérieur, un restaurant typique est disponible à environ 50 mètres de distance.
