On the hills of Tuscany, it's possible to enjoy a vacation immersed in the atmosphere of a farm. Its like a fairy tale being among the geese, hens, cows and horses. Here men, women and animals live and work together to dream of an organic oasis, to be as self-sustainable as possible.

Apartments in Farmhouse Pontassieve 1054 Guests can participate in the farm activities or simply relax in one of the two cosy apartments, which have recently been totally refurbished.

Maya and Cleo, two lively ponies, will provide plenty of entertainment for our younger guests, always available for rides and fun. For our older guests our horses Linda and Gina are great for rides and excursions, being so patient and well trained, that even people who might be a little afraid of larger animals will be able to have fun with one of man’s best friends.

Pontassieve 1054 Profile At our place, meals follow the rhythm of seasons, the aroma and flavours of the orchard. Extra virgin olive oil produced on site in all its simplicity accompanies all of our dishes. If you want to try to prepare your own meals, you can come with us to the orchard to pick the vegetables you like, and we will give you helpful tips on how to prepare them.

The farmhouse complex was built around an old medieval tower in a sun drenched location at a height of 350 meters (1300 feet) above sea level.

Being only 30 km (18 miles) away from Florence, it makes it easy to go on cultural outings to Florence to alternate with the peace of the country side. Nearby there are also numerous, well-marked nature paths for walks, trekking or mountain biking, away from traffic roads and starting right from the complex itself. And going fishing is only a short excursion away, at a small lake in the valley beneath the farm house.

Pontassieve 1054 is located 30 km from Florence, in the direction of Mugello, on the slopes of Monte Giovi at 350 meters above sea level.

Just 2 km away there is a railway station, from which Florence can be reached in just 30 minutes.
