On top a very panoramic hill, where there were a stall and a barn, there is now Pieve Fosciana 1511; a calm and sunny place where to enjoy in peace the time of the vacations.
A place loaded of atmosphere, a swimming pool that dominates the valley, the bread done in the firewood oven and my jams.

The Pieve Fosciana 1511 is very close to medioeval village of Sillico, where is possible to find a small alimentary shop, bar and restaurant.
During the stay in the Pieve Fosciana 1511, the guests can choose to descover Garfagnana with long walks directly departing from the Sillico or to cross lines of trekking along the slopes of the Alps Apuane or the Appennino, to know from near the small suburbs of mountain, to see the animals of the wood, to observe the flight of Poiana and the Aquila Reale that still nests on the Pania of Corfino inside the Natural Park of the Orecchiella.

We will suggest the most proper runs and when in demand we will accompany our guests in the excursions programmed of mountain bike, trekking, canyoning and speleo. We have planned some courses of mountain bike (with bicycles and equipment for rent) for children and adults.
The swimming pool is 6 x 12 meters with mirror effect on the valley side. We use wood chairs, sun beds and umbrella around the pool.

On request we can offer the italian breakfast with home made biscuits, cakes and jam; the dinner is served under the panoramic Veranda with candles lights. We offer very tipical dishes, hand made pasta or seasonal food (mushrooms, chestnuts, cheese and more) at very resonable prices; you can taste tuscany and italian wine.
During the summer is possible to follow some music concert in the historical village, during August the middle ages atmosphere retourn in the ancient village with a spectacular festival with food and tradition of 15 century.
