Perfect base for restful holidays, cultural tourism etc.
The apartments are situated in the small, old, beautiful village of Palaia with an equally small Roman Church. Very quiet and peaceful. Our apartment faced west and shared a large terrace with neighboring apartments. The view was stunning. Watching the sun set and day rise over the Tuscan landscape was deeply refreshing and revived us for another day of driving and visiting more of the myriads of charming towns and first-class cultural sites around Tuscany. In the village there is a ristoro with a small but good selection of meals, food and household necessities. A five minutes walk to the south takes you to the "Al Pachino" restaurant with excellent food and a pleasant atmosphere. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Good local wine was produced in the basement below our apartment.

Very friendly staff. Clean room and very affordable. We stayed in early September (Sunday to Thursday).
Very clean and large room. Mini kitchen was nice to have for early morning breakfast and late dinners.
The night we arrived there was a wedding reception that we did not know about and our room was right above them. The owners gave us a free bottle of wine from their winery to compensate us, but we do not drink wine. Fortunately, the party was not too loud. The rest of our stay was very pleasant.

Exactly what we where looking for. Calm, relaxing and central to visit the region. The pool was perfect for relaxing and cleaned everyday.

Very friendly people at the Ristoro. Apartment was clean, basic but comfortable! I would definetely recommend it to friends and family.

A basic accommodation.
It is within comfortable driving distance to nearby towns and cities. We got it at a very good rate due to low season and it as value for money in that way. The apartment was basic but comfortable and adequate. Th sunset is beautiful at this place and you should have self-cooked dinners on the patio to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
The description is not too accurate. It said that there is a solarium and 2 pools but we only found one. The pool is small and the surrounding is tired. The apartment is very basic and the bathroom is rather primitive with only a shower curtain to separate the area from the sink and wc. It isn't very private. Everyone would be hanging out on the patio, but you are ok in low season. The bedding is basic, with 2 pillows and blankets. Bring your own pillows if you mind it. The mattress isn't too comfortable. it isn't really connected to a vineyard or facility where you can see the making of the wine. The apartments are situated above the wine factory. We were checking out when they started fermenting the grapes. Gosh, that smell was vile. Be careful not to catch them doing that during your stay. Loads of mossies, bring a strong insect repellent.

se encontraba cerca de todas las ciudades y a la vez alejado dando tranquilidad
Los Apartamentos se encontraban encima de un restaurante que solo servia cenas y la gente después de cenar realizaba la tertulia en el aparcamiento a donde daba las ventanas del dormitorio.

venlig vært.....lille badeværelse
Det er et rigtig dejligt sted med en venlig og behjælpelig vært. Dejlig svømmepool og billig og god mad i nærheden. Dejlig tæt på Pisa og lufthavn.
Boede i 2 værelses lejlighed til 2 personer, hvor badeværelset var så lille, at når vi tog brusebad var der vand på hele badeværelset inkl. toilet m.m. Har ikke oplevet det andre steder i Toscana i samme prisniveau. Det var svært at finde, men da vi først fandt det, var det nemt at køre til.

Billigt, 2 swimmingpools, meget venlige ejere, meget smuk beliggenhed, restaurant lige ved, fantastisk udsigt og smuk natur, tæt på kultur i Firenze, Lucca m. fl.

No fans on arrival so very hot(35'C). Got some fans after 3 days but not for all apartments. Water in pool was cloudy initally but clear after cleaned on 4th day.Could have satellite TV.Apartments facing road noisy due to traffic. Road between pool and residence.

The apartment above the restaurant is not calm in the evening. Equipment in the flat a bit old-fashion. Only one fan for a flat of 6 people in the middle of summer.

Majd egy hetet töltöttünk itt, nap közben a környéket jártuk, reggel és este a szálláson voltunk. Jó a kis "bolt-kocsma-kifőzde" is. Teljes nyugalom. Ha gond van Paolo segít a megoldani. Az ár-érték arány kiváló.

Zachody słońca
Z tablicy informacyjnej wycztałem iż w XI wieku do instniejących zabudować dobudowano kościół a właściwie kościółek. I mieszkaliśmy obok tego kościółka. Widoki z okien i tarasu wyciągające wszyskich właścicieli aparatów fotograficznych na wspólne sesje zdjęciowe zachodzącemu słońcu. Dojazd do atostrady to 8 min. W ciągu 2 tygodni nie zdołaśmy zobyczyć wszystkiego co było godne obejrzenia. A wszysko jest w promieniu 100km.
Jest to mieszkanie nad piwnicami, w których produkowane jest wino. Dochodzą z piwnic zapachy wynikające z procesu produkcyjnego (dochodziły do nas tylko rano i tylko dawały o sobie znać a nie dominowały nas). Hałas wynikający z mieszkania w bezpośrednim sąsiedztwie wytwórni wina rozpoczynali generować toskańczycy parę minut po 9.00. Po południu gdy wracaliśmy nic nie było słychać ani czuć.

Fabulous location We loved this accommodation - stunning outlook, beautiful pool, incredibly helpful owner and a great location close to Pisa, Florence and Siena. The accommodation is pretty basic, but has everything you need. The patio looks out on scenery that you'd think had been painted up! Beautiful sunsets.

peaceful and beautiful environment
size of the apartment, size of the pool and its cleanliness, stunning view, very nice local people, proximity to Pisa, see and Florence.
Nothing important really…. Perhaps local worker in closing fattoria gave a noise wakeup when starting work, would have been great to have bicycle available for guests... pretty complicated and expensive to hire

Preciosa finca y localización.
La carretera de entrada al pueblo no estaba en perfecto estado, no es muy recomendable salir por la noche de fiesta.
