Aerial view History and position: the farmhouse is an ancient convent from the 1300's which was given a heartfelt, meticulous makeover a few years ago. Its original architectural details were conserved and the original building materials were used, together with ecological materials wherever possible. The farmhouse lies in an exceptionally beautiful spot, in the heart of the gentle Chianti hillsides. It's the ideal place both to have a completely relaxing vacation and to use as a springboard to reach the most famous artistic centers in the area, such as Siena (8 km), Florence (60 km), Monteriggioni (10 km), San Gimignano (30 km) and Volterra (50 km). Swimmingpool Accommodation: the farmhouse offers only 3 apartments, furnished using pieces typical of the local countryside. It thus offers its guests the chance to live a vacation dedicated entirely to their own needs. The lovely swimming pool is set in a protected position in the midst of the vineyards. It's here that our guests spend the hotter hours during the summer or have a swim in the afternoon after their outings. Terrace Products: the owners, also live on the farm and are always happy to spend time with their guests, when they're not busy in their fields: in fact, the farm is active and produces Chianti wine and extra virgin olive oil. The flowers of the garden Activities: the area is perfect for hiking and bike riding, and there are stables nearby for horseback riding fans. The hot springs of Rapolano are only 30 km. away. Just 20 meters away there's a typical Tuscan inn, open for lunch and supper only.
