Surrounded by vineyards growing grapes for the famous local wines, Wine Noble of Montepulciano and Red of Montepulciano, the Fattoria of the Gualtiere is peaceful and quiet, perfect place for person who loves the nature and the quietness. There are lovely views all around and it is easy to reach many interesting places in Southern Tuscany such as, Montepulciano, Pienza, Monticchiello. The Gualtiera is a beautiful old farmhouse, just restructured, composed of the first floor were every now and then, the owner lives, and two apartments, quite and fresh in the summer, for the guests at the ground floor with their own private entrance and garden. The Farmhouse is perfect in all periods of the year, from the spring to the autumn, and you will see the seasons changing, looking the colours that will change from green to red and in to yellow.
Swimmingpool
The Farmhouse is perfect for family with children and also for person disable because there are no steps, and for people how want a place to relax and to stay while they traveller around the old Tuscany cities.
The Farmhouse has a small swimming pool only for children, not for adults. In some periods, the guest can use the swimming pool of the Gualtiera (200 mt) or of the Fattoria (600 mt walking or 3 km by car). If the swimming pool is not available, we will offer to our guest some special S.P.A. treatments to the Montepulciano’s Baths or some entrance to the pools in Chianciano or entrance to the tennis courts in Chianciano and Montepulciano.
Room
There is a wood oven, a barbecue, a communal washing-machine, mountain-bikes, table tennis, games and bicycles for children. Baby-sitting on payment.
La Lavanda:
Ground apartment ( 70 mt2). Sitting/dining room, kitchen all furnished, twin bedroom (or double), double bedroom, bathroom with tub.
La Spiga:
Ground apartment(60 mt2) . Sitting/dining room, kitchenette, twin bedroom (or double), double bedroom, bathroom with shower.
Room
The place is peaceful, outside in the garden; you have the possibility to relax under the trees or to eat under the stars. There is barbecue, mountain bikes, laundry, tables, chairs sun-bed...
There are a lot of place to make beautiful walks in the nature and wiht the mountain bikes. The Fattoria of the Gualtiere is near to Chianciano and to Montepulciano, were there are public swimming pool, and tennis courts and also to the Baths of Montepulciano were we have special price for heath and beauty treatments.
