The Masseria delle Vigne is a classic Sicily farmhouse, only 500m from the beach, that was built around 1860. It is a prime example of rural construction of the late 19th century in the south of Italy.
The Masseria is nestled among 600 hectares of vineyards, and is a collection of rural buildings set around two courtyards, including the original farmhouses and farm buildings used at one time for wine production and storage.
Today the farmhouse offers bed and breakfast style accommodation for up to seven guests in comfortable rooms decorated almost entirely with original Liberty (Art Nouveau) furniture. On the ground floor of the farmhouse, the old cantine, or wine cellars have been restored, and they now house our restaurant.
The Masseria retains its old world charm and offers a taste Sicilian traditions and flavours against the beautiful backdrop of Marsala's countryside that you can enjoy from the terrace on the first floor.
