AUTUMN - WINTER:
1st week in November: truffle market/fair where it is possible to purchase truffles and many other typical local products such as oil, honey, salamis etc. and also local craftwork such as wrought iron and pottery.
8 December: lighting of the world's largest Christmas tree.

SPRING - SUMMER:
Easter, Good Friday - typical re-enactment of the "Procession of Dead Christ" in the streets of the historic centre of Gubbio.
15 May: Festa dei Ceri (Candle Festival).
Last Sunday in May: Traditional crossbow tournament.
14 August: Interdistrict Palio, historic procession and Crossbow Tournament.

Throughout the summer there are plenty of local festivals and village fêtes, such as the "Festa della Trebbiatura" (threshing festival), "la Sagra della Trippa" (festival of tripe) la "Festa della Mannaia" (festival of the cleaver), etc.
