You can also visit other lovely important historic centres, such as the town of Certaldo, the birthplace of Boccaccio and where the famous July market is held, the "Mercantia", as well as the famous thermal waters at Pilo.
Furthermore, there are a variety of local fairs celebrating the truffle, the main ones being at San Miniato and Monteriggioni.
