Among the hills of Chianti, we offer vacations, seminars, meetings, workshops, excellent cuisine, horseriding, the swimming pool, the musical massage, a volleyball court, a wooden deck surrounded by centenary holm-oak trees, the blue of the night and the orange of the sun.

Location:
Barberino Val d'Elsa 1237 is a wonderful 17th century villa at about 375 m above sea level, situated in the heart of a medieval hamlet in the Chianti Classico region. It is arranged at horseshoe shape with a courtyard in front and it is enveloped by an old age ivy which, from spring to autumn, dresses it first with green and later with fire-red colours.
What to do:
For many years we have been hosting groups working on various activities and spiritual searches: Yoga, Shiatsu and Trager massage, bioenergetics therapy, meditation, healing practices, sound and percussion researches, dance and more.
We are also pleased to offer hospitality to tourists looking for a special place and lovers of the vegetarian food as the dishes of our menu are mainly vegetarian.
Few years ago we started to organize our own workshops of harmonic singing, weeks of holiday in summer with special activities or meeting with expressive and interesting personalities of our times.
We are surrounded by vineyards and olive trees producing a wonderful nectar that becomes wine and oil of unique flavour and colour. At the horizon, the forest extends for kilometres as far as to Siena and beyond.
We are located at halfway between Florence and Siena, close to S. Gimignano, Certaldo, Volterra, Greve in Chianti and other places, less famous, but rich of historic and natural beauty too. For trekking lovers there are few routes to follow or even walk to S. Donato to get a coffee or explore the forest, being careful not to get lost.
View from the other side
The flora and the fauna are those typical of Central Italy: the all area abounds with swallows, wild boars and porcupines.
A livingroom and a bedroom
Accommodation:
The rooms inside the villa have been left as they were originally built: wide rooms with wooden beam ceilings, furnished with two or three beds and each one has its own particular beauty. The spacious living room and dining rooms, with the old fireplaces, have a cosy and colourful atmosphere.
